The John Martin Group was founded in the 1960’s in a lock-up garage in Edinburgh. From these
humble origins, the Group has grown to become one of Scotland’s leading motor retail groups
(listed as one of Scotland’s top 200 businesses), with over 20 car dealerships and several Accident
Repair Centres spanning the length and breadth of Scotland.
Trading under the well-established names of Belmont, Murray Motor Company and Dunedin, the
JM Group currently holds 16 franchises and employs over 1,000 people.
