Getting paid while you learn might sound too good to be true - but as an apprentice you really do get the best of both worlds. And while you're studying for your qualifications, you'll be able to get hands-on work experience.
If you have the dedication to succeed in the world of work, and you're not afraid to commit yourself to three to four years of training and study, then an apprenticeship could be for you.
Apprenticeships are suited to people who are focused and know the career they want. Our apprenticeships are sought after, so demand for places is high. But if you have the determination and drive to succeed, then you may end up as one of the number of people currently doing an apprenticeship with the John Martin Group.

Sales Executive
Preferably at least one year’s experience in a selling role
Excellent customer service
Good administration and organizational abilities
Excellent communicator and team player
Presentable in appearance
Has a full UK driving licence
Technician
Completed an SVQ in Motor Vehicle Repair
Experience of working within a franchised dealer
Ability to carry out quality work within manufacturers timescales
Excellent customer service delivery
Has a full UK driving licence
Panel Beater
Has an SVQ in Motor Vehicle Body Repair
Ability to carry out quality work within manufacturers timescales
Excellent customer service delivery
Spray Painter
Has an SVQ in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations - Refinishing
Ability to carry out quality work within manufacturers timescales
Excellent customer service delivery
Accounts
At least 2 years previous general accounts experience
IT literacy
Experience in the use of spreadsheets
Administration
Keyboard skills
Ability to work in a busy environment
Experience in using spreadsheets, databases and word processing packages.
Receptionist
Friendly and outgoing personality
Excellent telephone manner
Customer focused
Used to dealing with customers in a face-to-face scenario
